Sohrab Pournazeri and Shahab Paranj performed La Voix de Perse (The Voice of Persia) on 22 August 2026, the closing night of Du Vert à l’Infini 2026, an international festival of new music in Franche-Comté, France. The concert took place at the Church of Saint-Martin in Vellexon.
The two musicians have worked together for more than 25 years. Shahab Paranj, composer, conductor and tombak player, is the founder and artistic director of the festival, and performed with the Shams Ensemble for more than fifteen years.
